Lotta libera: i ranking mondiali ad inizio 2015
L’inizio del nuovo anno ha portato pochi cambiamenti per i ranking mondiali di lotta libera maschile. Al comando delle varie categorie di peso sono infatti rimasti gli stessi atleti del mese precedente.
Come prevedibile, le classifiche delle otto categorie di peso rispecchiano in maniera alquanto fedele i risultati dei Campionati Mondiali 2014, e proprio per questo è la Russia a farla da padrona, con cinque primati firmati Soslan Ramonov (65 kg), Khetik Tsabolov (70 kg), Denis Tsargush (74 kg), Abdulrashid Sadulaev (86 kg) ed Abdusalam Gadisov (97 kg). Al resto del mondo rimangono i primi post del nordcoreano Jong Hak-Jin (57 kg), dell’azero Haji Aliyev (61 kg) e del gigante turco Taha Akgül, che ha finalmente vinto il suo primo titolo iridato dopo tre ori continentali. Il campione asiatico Jong Hak-Jin è anche l’unico di questi a non essere campione iridato in carica, visto che alla competizione mondiale la Corea del Nord è stata rappresentata da Yang Kyong-Il, attuale numero due nel ranking, che ha conquistato l’oro.
Per l’Italia, si conferma il buon piazzamento Frank Chamizo (65 kg). L’atleta di origine cubana ha però perso sei posizioni resta al sedicesimo posto, nonostante la sua assenza ai Campionati Mondiali di Tashkent, dove non ha potuto partecipare a causa dei ritardi nell’ottenimento dei documenti italiani. L’azzurro deve il suo piazzamento soprattutto medaglia d’oro al Grand Prix di Spagna a Madrid.
