Lotta greco-romana: Timoncini nella top 10 del ranking mondiale

I ranking mondiali di lotta greco-romana del mese di maggio hanno regalato una bella sorpresa all’Italia, che vede Daigoro Timoncini, il suo miglior interprete in questo stile, entrare nella top ten della categoria 98 kg, grazie alla due medaglie d’argento conquistate in questa prima parte di stagione in Ungheria ed in Bulgaria. Al comando della classifica troviamo sempre il campione mondiale in carica, l’armeno Artur Aleksanyan.

A livello internazionale, va segnalato il cambiamento di leadership nella categoria 59 kg, ora guidata dal russo Mingiyan Semenov, che spodesta il campione iridato Hamid Soryan (Iran), ora terzo.
