Good afternoon and welcome to the LIVE updates of the qualifying session of the 70th Anniversary GP, the fifth round of the World Championships of F1 2020, here in Silverstone for the second weekend. The battle for the pole-position seems to be always between the two Mercedes: Lewis Hamilton is the favourite, but Valtteri Bottas could beat his teammate.
While the front row seems to be a battle within Mercedes, for the second row there is more competition. Among those who will try to get P3 there are Max Verstappen (Red Bull), and both Racing Point with Lance Stroll and Nico Hulkenberg (who substitutes Sergio Perez). Although the fine and point penalties after the FIA verdict, Racing Point is allowed to race this weekend.
