14.30 Welcome back everyone, we’re ready to update you on the qualifying. Q1 starts at 15.00

Welcome to the LIVE qualifying updates of the Great Britain GP 2020, the fourth round of this unusual F1 season. Today every team will work hard to qualify in the best position possible for the Sunday race. This weekend, we have seen Nico Hulkenberg back on track for Racing Point, after Sergio Perez tested positive to Covid-19.

Mercedes seem to be still the favourite team for pole position on this track. On Friday, it seems they hid a little and did not express the full potential of the car. Today we will see a different approach, especially from Lewis Hamilton who will try to get the pole position; on this track, he has got six pole positions.

Ferrari is still struggling. The realistic goal for today will be to finish in the top-5. Charles Leclerc has shown some positive feedback on the simulation of the qualifying lap, but more negative feedback on the simulation of the race pace. On the other hand, Vettel’s car has stopped him from taking part in FP1 and had some more issues in FP2 that didn’t allow the German driver to get real feedback from his SF1000.

Red Bull seems to be very competitive with both Max Verstappen and Alexander Albon, although the latter crushed during the final moments of FP2 on Friday.

Alpha Tauri will have a challenging qualifying session as Daniil Kvyat has been awarded a five grid places penalty after changing the gearbox.

The LIVE updates of the Great Britain GP 2020 will start at 14.00 local time. Enjoy!
