15.07 The race has been affected heavily by the red flags after the incident between Zarco and Morbidelli. Luckily, both riders are ok!

15.05 Andrea Dovizioso will try to come back in the standings of this year MotoGP.

15.02 Dovizioso wins and takes his revenge on Ducati after the two will not be together next year. Mir (+1″377) and Miller (+1″549) complete the podium. Binder P4 (+5″5), Rossi P5 (5″8). Follow in order, from P6 to P10, Nakagami, Petrucci, Quartararo, Lecuona and Viñales.

DOVIZIOSO WINS THE AUSTRIAN GP 2020!

-1 UNBELIEVABLE MIR OVERTAKES MILLER AT THE LAST TURN!

-1 Rossi 0.4 away from Binder! He can try the attack.

-1 DOVIZIOSO HAS 1″3 on Miller! IT’S ALMOST DONE FOR THE ITALIAN!

-2 DOVIZIOSO GAINS AGAIN! 1″1 AHEAD OF MILLER. THE WIN IS CLOSE!

-2 Rossi is now less than one second away from BInder in P4.

-2 MILLER DOES NOT GIVE UP! He is less than one second away from Dovizioso, the Italian need to fight until the end.

-2 Quartararo closing on Petrucci to get P7.

-3 DOVIZIOSO IS FLYING! HE IS 1″ AHEAD OF P2! Rossi is closing on Binder.

-4 Mir is way faster than Miller, but can’t overtake him. The Aussie is using the full potential of the Ducati engine on his motorbike.

-4 Rossi gains half-second on Nakagami and consolidates P5.

-5 DOVIZIOSO FLYING AWAY! 0.7 advantage on Miller and 0.9 on Mir. Quartararo trying to limit the damage is now in P8, Viñales in P11 after starting from the pole position.

-6 Rossi is as fast as Dovizioso Miller and Mir. Such a pity he lost too much in the first part after the race started again.

-7 Dovizioso is trying to push and create a gap but Miller and Mirare not giving up.  Rossi still in P5, the podium is far for the DOC who is still chasing his 200th podium.

-8 Dovizioso, Miller and Mir are basically going together. Binder is 3″1 away from the lead, Rossi 5″0, Nakagami 5″3 and Petrucci 7″7.

-9 Dovizioso in the lead ahead of Miller, Mir, Binder and Rossi. Yamaha in trouble with a ba race, the only one saving the team is Valentino Rossi.

-10 UNBELIEVABLE! RINS FALLS! It seems an elimination race!

-10 Valentino Rossi is in P5, 5″ behind Dovizioso. Binder ahead of him is 1£9 away.

-10 Rins overtakes Mir and closes on Dovizioso.

-11 DOVIZIOSO OVERTAKES MILLER AND TAKES THE LEAD! He takes on Miller on the straight with double speed. The Italian will fight with Rins and Mir for the win.

-12 Rins makes a mistake and loses half-second from Miller and Dovizioso!

-12 KTM DISASTER!! P. Espargaro and Oliveira collide and both riders fall. Rossi gains two positions and is now in P6.

-13 Dovizioso and Rins are now close to Miller. P. Espargaro overtaken also by Mir. The Spaniard is in P4, 1″8 behind the leader. WHAT A SUZUKI!

-13 DOVIZIOSO IS NOW PUSHING! The Italian is closing the gap with Miller, only 0.4 away from the lead.

-14 Rossi is closing the gap on Binder, the winner last Sunday in Brno.

-14 Miller has soft tyre, Dovizioso had a medium in the front and a soft in the back. The gap between them is still 1″1.

-15 Espargaro immediately takes the position back. Strong engine for KTM.

-15 P. Espargaro makes a mistake and allows Rins to take P3.

-16 Rossi attacks and overtakes Nakagami, taking P8.

– 16 Miller increasing the gap, now he has 1″1 advantage on Dovizioso and 1″6 on P. Espargaro.

-17 Rins overtakes Mir and takes P4. Both Suzuki fighting for that position.

-17 MILLER IS GOING AWAY! Almost 1″ advantage on Dovizioso who is in P2.

-18 Miller in the lead. Dovizioso overtakes P. Espargaro and takes P2. From P4 to P9, in order, Mir, Rins, Oliveira, Binder, Nakagami and Rossi.

Good afternoon and welcome to the LIVE race updates of the Austrian GP 2020, the fourth round of this year MotoGP. We are expecting to see an exciting and close race on the Spielberg track.

The race will start at 14.00 and will see Maverick Viñales starting from the pole position. From what we have seen so far during the weekend, the race is projected to be uncertain until the end. The weather can play a key role in mixing up the race, as rain is not excluded today, nor it is excluded the possibility to start on a dry track and to have heavy rain in the middle of the race.

Since 2016, when MotoGP takes place in Austria, Ducati has always won, and this year, the Italian team seems to be competitive as well. Jack Miller will start from the first row after a bad weekend in Brno. Andrea Dovizioso will start from P4, his best starting-grid position so far this season. The 34-year-old Italian has won here in Austria twice already (2017 and 2019) and will be motivated to conquer his third victory on this track. Yesterday he announced that he would part ways with Ducati at the end of this season, but he will not retire yet from the sport.

OA Sport offers the LIVE updates of the race of the Austrian GP, the fourth race of MotoGP 2020: real-time and lap-by-lap updates. Lights out at 14.00. Enjoy the race!
