14.52 Zarco celebrates his pole-position! Quartararo in P2, 0.303 behind Zarco, and Morbidelli in P3, 0.311 behind. Follow A. Espargaro, Viñaes, P. Espargaro, Binder, Petrucci, Mir, Rossi, Rins and Crutchlow.

14.51 UNBELIEVABLE! During his last attempt, Quartararo falls.

14.50 Last attempt of Quartararo to get the pole position.

14.49 Morbidelli into P3 0.008 behind Quartararo.

14.48 Crutchlow falls!

14.47 The last lap has been a close-run between Rossi, Morbidelli and Zarco. Morbidelli improves his time and goes right behind Quartararo. Rossi has had a great first sector but, the remaining ones did not allow him to improve his previous time. Zarco with 1’55″687 gets into P1 at the moment.

14.46 Rins keeps P6, 0.682 behind Quartararo. Valentino Rossi improves his time, he needs a perfect lap to assure the second row tomorrow.

14.45 Great lap by Viñales, he gets into P3, 0.141 behind Quartararo, who seems invincible today.

14.43 Rossi stops and puts the last soft tyre he has available.

14.42 WHAT A LAP by Aleix Espargaro with the Aprilia bike. He is in P2, only 0.084 behind Quartararo.

14.41 Morbidelli and Rossi are driving at a similar speed and now are, respectively, in P5 and P6.

14.40 QUARTARARO, he immediately gets P1 back in 1’55″990. P. Espargaro and A. Espargaro in P2 and P3 at the moment.

14.39 Pol Espargaro confirms he could be the outside, and he gets into P1 at the moment in 1’56″142.

14.37 Morbidelli has never got into pole position in MotoGP. For him, hard tyre in the front and soft in the back.

14.36 Valentino Rossi is on track with a medium tyre in the front and a soft in the back.

14.36 Fabio Quartararo could get his fifth pole position in a row, considering also the previous season.

14.35 Q2 starting now!

14.32 Q2 starts at 14.35. Morbidelli dreams the pole-position, but the favourite at the moment is still Fabio Quartararo.

14.27 Rins (Suzuki) and Binder (KTM) qualified into Q2, respectively in 1’56″230 and 1’56″291. Eliminated, in order, Oliveira, Miller, Rabat, Lecuona, Nakagami, Dovizioso, Smith, Bradl and Alex Marquez.

14.26 UNBELIEVABLE! Nakagami’s time is cancelled for exceeding track limits. This allows Binder to move back into P2 and to qualify into Q2.

14.25 With only 20 seconds left, Rins sets the faster lap and gets into P1, leaving Nakagami in P2 and Binder in P3.

14.24 Nakagami sets the fastest lap and gets the P1.

14.23 Olivera is closing the gap with the top two riders.

14.22 With only 3 minutes left, Binder and Miller keep their positions that allow them to move into Q2.

14.20 Last attempt for Dovizioso who has a new soft tyre on the back.

14.18 The only time that Dovizioso had set has been cancelled as he did not follow the limit during yellow flags after Smith’s fall.

14.16 Dovizioso seems to not have a great feeling with his motorbike. He is currently 10th in Q1 and stopped to change a tyre. At the moment, Binder and Miller would go to Q2.

14.15 Binder momentary in the first place of Q1 in 1’56″291, Miller behind him by 0.061.

14.14 Smith (Aprilia) falls and is out of the qualifying session.

14.13 First lap for Dovizioso is not great, the Italian seems to struggle.

14.12 On paper, Rins, Dovizioso, Nakagami and Oliviera are among the favourites to make it to Q2.

14.11 The riders competing in Q1 are Dovizioso, Rins, Nakagami, Oliviera, Miller, Binder, Rabat, Smith, Alex Marquez, Bradl and Lecuona.

14.10 Q1 Starting now!

Good afternoon and welcome to the LIVE qualifying updated of the Czech Republic GP 2020, the third round of MotoGP here in Brno. Today the battle to get the pole-position is uncertain due to the high number of riders who are at a similar level. The high temperatures represent a big challenge for the riders who are trying to get the best result possible to facilitate the race tomorrow.

It is hard to pick a favourite to get the pole position today. Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha Petronas), who won the last two races, will try to start from the front again. Still, it will not be that easy: Maverick Viñales (Yamaha) and Franco Morbidelli (Yamaha Petronas) have shown to perform well on the qualifying lap. A potential outsider in the qualifying is Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati) while the legend Valentino Rossi demonstrated a good pace for the race but not on the qualifying lap. Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia will not take part in this weekend’s race due to injury.
