15.00 Q1 STARTS NOW!

Good afternoon and welcome to the LIVE qualifying update of the Tuscan GP, the ninth round of F1 2020 and the weekend that celebrates the Ferrari 1000th race in Formula 1. During this race, the Italian team has presented a new livery, in honour of the first Ferrari in 1950. To celebrate the team, the safety cars this weekend will be red in honour of Ferrari. For the first time, an official F1 race will take place at Mugello and the drivers will need to push their cars to the limits to get the best stating grid position.

As usual, Mercedes is the favourite to conquer the pole position, especially after what we have seen in FP2, but Red Bull, with Max Verstappen, is not that far behind. It seems improbable to see a fight to get the pole position, but it is fair to expect Verstappen trying to make the difference on this track.

Ferrari is incomprehensible. During FP1, Charles Leclerc gave hopes to all the Ferrari fans at the track and home realising an unexpected third position. However, in the afternoon, during FP2, the Monegasque driver finished in P10. Therefore, it is not clear what the real value of the SF1000 is on this track. During FP2, Leclerc was the only driver not to improve his performance from the morning, except Grosjean who did not have the chance to complete good laps. The goal for today is to get into Q3 with at least one car.

OA Sport offers the LIVE qualifying updates of the Tuscan GP, the ninth round of F1 2020: real-time and minute by minute updates not to miss any action from Mugello. Qualifying stars at 15.00. Enjoy!
