Ordine d’arrivo Tour de France 2021, risultati tredicesima tappa: Cavendish è mostruoso in volata, secondo Morkov

Mark Cavendish interrompe la maledizione di Carcassonne e raggiunge Eddy Merckx per numero di vittorie al Tour de France. Il velocista della Deceuninck-Quick Step si impone nella tredicesima tappa della Grande Boucle collezionando il quarto successo in Francia della stagione e allungando ancor di più nella classifica per la maglia verde.

In una volata particolare, mette il naso avanti al compagno di squadra Michael Morkov e Jasper Philipsen, piazzato per l’ennesima volta quest’anno. Il miglior azzurro è Davide Ballerini, sempre in maglia Deceuninck-Quick Step, diciottesimo, ma che a 200 metri dall’arrivo si è ritrovato da solo in testa e vicino a sorprendere tutti.
